Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Congratulations on taking this first step toward improving your life & mental well-being! My approach is to create a space where you can feel safe, valued, & understood. We will work together to help you explore the life you want to live, including understanding and changing the obstacles getting in the way of your self fulfillment and aspirations. Like all healthy relationships, therapy should provide an environment created on mutual reverence, honesty and trust. If you're looking for extra support & guidance through a challenging situation or you're ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you. My areas of expertise are addressing anxiety, anger management issues, depression, relationship conflicts and PTSD related symptoms.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
