Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I am a licensed therapist with several years experience providing mental health services to families, adolescents, adults, and couples. I have worked within the school system in several California cities and have developed a strong understanding, rapport, and therapeutic relationship with adolescents and their families to provide the appropriate interventions to improve a variety of issues ranging from trauma, loss and grief, substance abuse, relationships, and domestic and community violence. I use the right therapy approach to help you help yourself by jointly discovering the root cause of your issue, concern, or problem in a comfortable, supportive, and safe environment. We will identify effective tools and coping skills to achieve your goals for personal growth to handle whatever comes your way. Your plan will lead you to a happier and successful life within a reasonable timeframe. Most issues can be successfully addressed within 3-6months, while others may take longer. Some individuals prefer to establish long term therapeutic relationships to work on secondary goals to further enhance their personal growth and I welcome that opportunity. Please feel free to contact me for a free 15 minute phone consultation to see if I may be the one to help you address your unique and individual need. Check my website at: for more information and intake forms if you select me as your therapist.

Are you stressed out? Do you sometimes find yourself snapping at your children? Would you describe your relationship with your husband as “distant”? Or do you feel like you are going to lose it if someone doesn’t give you a break? Being a mother, wife, or daughter can stretch us to our limits. During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone. Let’s talk and see if I can help you make things “right side up” again.
