Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Sometimes we encounter situations that bring us overwhelming sorrow and distress. We may be in a hurtful relationship or we may lose someone we love to illness, death, or by choice. We may face a life-changing, gut-wrenching decision and find ourselves stuck at the fork in the road, wondering whether to turn left or right. Finding peace of mind and well-being may mean forging an alliance with a therapist who redirects attention away from shattered assumptions towards an experience of hope, meaning, strength, stability, and recovery. I am here for you at the crossroads of change, just as you are now. I am present for you and with you as you explore thoughts and feelings, make empowering decisions, and realize your potential for change. I will encourage you to experiment with new thoughts, practice new skills, do more of what works, and have faith in yourself.
