Services
I see young children (age 2+) with a parent present, children, adolescents, adults and couples. Welcome... I offer play therapy in which I am right here, present with, and attending to my patient as he/she becomes involves in her/his story with a variety of toys or games, play acting out a self-directed drama with or without me actively involved, or through sandplay. Each of these is a way to play through whatever needs to be worked out. Children often don't have the words for what's going on yet they can work through it in play therapy. For other people, often but not always teens and adults, talk therapy is preferred way to be in therapy. In my office, it is a special time and space to come in and feel deeply heard and listened to. Perhaps one listens, really listens, to one's own voice for the first time in my presence.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
