Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
My style is down-to-earth, interactive, and reaches beyond insight to realize change in the present moment. Engagement, connection and the healing power of humor are trademarks of my approach. I will help you find the love in work and the work in love.

I work with people facing anxiety, depression and personal crises, particularly career transitions, couple and blended family issues, and loss.

With couples and blended families, I emphasize self-discovery in relationship. In individual work, I seek to help you find the core from which your authenticity emerges. Mending broken hearts a specialty.

A short initial meeting is recommended.

I know it can be scary to reach out for help, especially in a culture that tells us we should be able to solve our problems on our own and, if we can’t, there is something wrong with us. Well, I’m here to challenge that culture that values independence more than interdependence, because as humans we are designed to be connected with others in relationships. And sometimes the first relationship that needs our focused attention is the one we have with ourselves in order to ‘show up’ in our relationships with others.
