Personal Statement:
I specialize in working with women of all ages with diverse backgrounds and experiences. My specialties include self-esteem, depression, anxiety, traumatic experiences (including but not limited to child abuse and domestic violence) grief and loss, crisis management, communication, and relationship issues. It is my desire to illicit healing and work collaboratively with the client to foster insight and empowerment. Using a solution-focused and a strength based approach; including homework, client strengths, and goals to create an individualized treatement. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, ICARE specialized training to work with adolescents with trauma and co-occurring substance abuse, and Mindfulness based skills.
