Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I act as a gentle and collaborative guide, helping you uncover self-defeating behaviors that can make life problematic. Working together, my intention is to help you gain insight into yourself and to encourage change that moves you forward toward fulfilling your goals and dreams. Clients come to me with anxiety, depression, marital issues/dysfunction, family conflicts, grief and loss, co-dependency, and Adult Child of Alcoholic issues. I specialize in loss and grief. Not only dealing with the death of a loved one, but other profound losses including divorce, separation, family disconnection, death of a pet, and job loss. I also specialize in Adult Children of Alcoholic/Addict issues including abandonment, trust and fear of intimacy. My goal is to provide a safe place for you to explore feelings of anxiety, depression and loneliness that often accompany these losses in a supportive and non-judgmental setting. You deserve to be seen, heard and understood.
