Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I believe our service to others comes out of our own struggle. To this end, I offer my assistance to those who may be suffering from infertility, considering adoption or who has been adopted. A marriage can be seriously impacted during infertility diagnosis and treatment and one of the most difficult challenges may be communicating with family about the devastating life crisis you are struggling with. I am invested in the idea of the family and marriage and believe unless it involves domestic, that people should not give up on their marriages without professional help and learning some simple communications tools. I am a proponent of a therapeutic technique called “EMDR” which can give relief to those who are suffering from depression or anger, unresolved grief, anxiety or disturbing memories, especially those related to early experiences. Often these emotional blocks are mostly out of realm of awareness.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
