Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I’d say “how are you?” except if you’re looking at this website, you’re probably not doing well right now. I’ve been there: I know what it feels like. Life is difficult. One reason I became a therapist is I’ve been helped and I’m grateful. We can get bogged down, options become limited, and feelings of despair start creeping in. If we keep doing the same things, we will keep getting the same results. As a Marriage and Family Therapist I’m still amazed by how the slightest cognitive shift can lead to a true change in behavior, which can dramatically change your life. My specialties include helping couples reconnect, helping teens find their way, helping adults be the best parents possible, getting you and your family emotionally balanced. I’ve been successful with adults and children who are depressed and struggling with anxiety: give me a try, I’m here to help!

Thanks, Tony Stine

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
