Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
My focus is helping people feel fully alive and inspired, connected to a profound experience of personal meaning, authenticity, and purpose. I specialize in the use of imagination to access inner resources and wisdom and to promote insight, understanding and personal transformation. I have been in clinical practice for 17 years. I work from a psychodynamic frame that is warm, interactive and empathic. I am versed in Jungian Analytic Psychology and Transpersonal Psychology, and I welcome dreams, reverie and all spiritual concerns into the therapeutic dialogue. I am an adjunct professor at JFK University, and I am a former clinical faculty member and training supervisor for the California Pacific Medical Center's Institute for Health & Healing - Integrative Medicine Education Program where I taught mind-body medicine emphasizing relational guided imagery and expressive arts therapy.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Pasadena, CA 91101

I am a Marriage and Family therapist in private practice. I work with individuals, couples, and families in short and long-term psychotherapy. We work together to explore memories of the relational dynamics of the individual’s family, the feelings those dynamics created for the individual as a child, and how the individual now relates to those feelings and memories.
