Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I strive to connect with my clients in a way that offers them honest reflection, empathy and stimulation toward growth. I believe that psychotherapy can assist in making life better. I work with individuals, families and couples to face their problems and transition through to a better place. If you are looking for treatment for an individual adult, adolescent, couple or family, I would be happy to discuss your specific needs and offer my ideas on how I might be helpful. Or to match you with the appropriate resource. My policy is that I charge for our first session, only if we decide to move forward with therapy together. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about my experience and approach. Feeling comfortable with your choice of therapist is of primary importance.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
