Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
As a therapist I believe in tailoring my approach to the individual needs of the client. I work primarily form a humanistic perspective using a multi-modal approach. I believe that human beings inherently know within what they need in order to heal, grow and move forward with their lives. I see my role as helping people to discover how to get in touch with their inner wisdom and its unique gifts and answers. When therapy is completed clients have a new way to approach future difficulties that inevitably arise in the lives of all people. I don’t intentionally specialize but I do have several years experience working with Survivors of Sexual Assault and with those dealing with the difficulties encountered by having the Attention Deficit Disorder. I offer family systems supportive work, intensive psychotherapy, art therapy, play therapy, hypnotherapy, sand tray, dreamwork, coaching and more.
