Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
"Suffering is a call for inquiry. All pain needs investigation."
-Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj

Compassion and intuition characterize my style and I consider truth, the present moment, and the body as rich sources of information in therapeutic work. I am comfortable helping with a variety of subjects such as relationship problems, major life transitions, abuse, grief, sexuality and spirituality.

An essential component of my work is the recognition of the interrelationship between mind, body, and spirit. In the context of a supportive and collaborative relationship, I help you examine your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Results of this process may include greater awareness, more confidence and resourcefulness, and an improved sense of vitality.

Nondual awareness infuses my work with clients, a perspective in which the split between self and other is recognized as a mental construct and possibilities for spaciousness and clarity unfold.

During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone. Let’s talk and see if I can help you make things “right side up” again.
