Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Your struggle to find help has brought you this far. Human life can bring pain and suffering but also joy and contentment. Therapy facilitates the processing of pain to alleviate suffering and cultivate joy and peace of mind through compassion, safety, understanding, practical problem solving, and skill building so you can not only survive each day but flourish. What no longer serves you? Let’s cultivate awareness of old patterns together. I bring warmth, compassion, and honesty without judgement to so you can gain insight into thoughts and actions you are struggling with. I will tend to your concerns with kindness and empathy. I provide therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families struggling with life transitions including pregnancy and postpartum periods and serious mental health conditions. I also supervise MFTA's in a variety of settings. Our work may also include expressive art therapy and coaching on research-based stress reduction techniques, parenting methods, and practical tools to manage day to day aspects of life. Therapy is a collaboration. Together, we will develop a customized plan to best meet your needs and goals. Let’s get started today. I look forward to connecting with you.
