Services
Meet in the comfort and privacy of my Mountain View office, or I will travel to you. Personalized Service Why In-home / On-Site Counseling? I literally, “meet you where you’re at” - at your home, school or office. My clients feel more relaxed and comfortable having sessions in the comfort and privacy of familiar surroundings. They also appreciate the convenience and ease of not having to travel to a practitioner’s office. In home counseling is especially ideal for family therapy sessions because it’s much easier to get family members to meet in the family room than in an office across town. Another significant benefit having home/office based sessions is that I get to see you as a “whole person” - and not just a group of ‘symptoms’ that walks into an office. By working with you in your home/work environment, I learn more about your life - living situation, family/friend support, culture, lifestyle, interests, history, awards, values, emotions, mental and physical challenges etc. and can base my interventions accordingly. This cannot be done as easily in a 50-minute appointment in a therapist’s office.
