Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Do you have an autistic child? Has your child become the 'center' leaving other family members needs unmet? When a child is diagnosed with a Pervasive Developmental Disorder, the entire family feels the pain. Each year, thousands of children are diagnosed with autism leaving parents and siblings in unchartered waters. Fortunately there is hope.

My name is Diane Alvy, I work with parents and children that have been effected by autism. When I treat siblings, I use art therapeutically and find engaging in concrete activities help children find meaning in a sad event.

I'd like to help you and your family find meaning. You deserve to feel better. I look forward toward meeting you. Let's see how we can make it better."
