Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Therapy is a partnership for creating sustainable change. Together we look at changing patterns of behavior and of relating with other people that may limit you in your life. Through our work, you can increase your self-knowledge and self-confidence, and experience genuine trust and open communication. Many of my clients say that our therapy helped them form deeper and more satisfying relationships.

I create a safe and comfortable environment by listening without judgment. I ask questions to clarify and understand, and invite you to reflect and consider your experiences from different perspectives.

I treat a variety of personal and social concerns, including relationship problems at work and home, stress, communication breakdown, sexual behavior problems and overwhelming feelings like sadness, loneliness and anger. I also work with clients on a range of cultural issues, from developing new aspects of self-identity to dealing with the pain of prejudice and family speperation.
