I focus on psychodynamic, cognitive and humanistic perspectives. I try to match my treatment to each client’s individual needs, combining various ways of looking at internal problems, offering counseling services that are based on the client’s strengths.

In a safe and supportive environment’ clients are able to explore options, learn practical tools and emerge from and transition with new skills, insights and personal growth.

I have experienced success working with individuals and couples, on issues of acculturation and adjustment, life transitions, parenting and intergenerational conflict. Other areas of my expertise include: depression, maternal and postpartum depression, anxiety disorders and grief and loss.

Are you stressed out? Do you sometimes find yourself snapping at your children? Would you describe your relationship with your husband as “distant”? Or do you feel like you are going to lose it if someone doesn’t give you a break? Being a mother, wife, or daughter can stretch us to our limits. During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone.
