Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
In private practice since 1994, I have worked successfully with a variety of clients across the age span as they searched to make changes in their lives, ease suffering, improve relationships and expand self knowledge. I pull from a variety of theories, depending on the presenting issues and the desired goals of treatment. When dealing with problems of anxiety and depression, I might integrate a cognitive approach with depth reflection. Issues of life transition such as marriage, parenthood or midlife often call for a more analytic approach, where I pull on the work of Carl Jung and analytic psychology. Many clients find it helpful to work with dream imagery in an attempt to access the deep unconscious, where truth and inner knowing can be found.

For couples, I facilitate workshops and retreats designed to reignite passion, improve communication and increase satisfaction in relationships. www.AfterTheHoneymoon.org
