Personal Statement:
Glenn Gelfenbein, MA, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He founded the Ability Resource Center to provide a special place of healing and empowerment for children and adults with learning and attentional differences. Over the past 15 years, he has worked with hundreds of children, adults, and their families, helping them live more meaningful and successful lives. He has designed several parent and teen psycho-educational programs, including one that was used in the Juvenile Justice system. He lectures at state and local learning disability conferences, and in Portland, Oregon co-founded a State Certified Mental Health Clinic. He is currently serving as the Vice President of the East Bay Learning Disabilities Association, as well as a board member for the Learning Disabilities Association of California.
