Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Worried about your teenage child? Frustrated with your partner? Unhappy with your life? You do not need to struggle alone. I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, committed to serve adolescents, adults, couples and families. After working as an engineer for 20 years, I decided to dedicate my life to helping others. Deeply compassionate and highly analytical, I can work with you or your family to sort through all the difficult issues and help you develop a more satisfying relationship. As an immigrant from Taiwan, I am bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English. I provide culturally sensitive service to clients from diverse backgrounds, and can help families resolve cultural conflicts and individuals manage life transitions. My experience includes providing on-campus counseling at Leland High School and Castillero Middle School, teaching parenting classes of various age groups and co-parenting classes for divorced parents, helping individuals with depression or anxiety, and working with couples to strengthen their relationships. Seeking help is sign of strength, not weakness. I invite you to contact me for a free, confidential phone consultation today!

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
