Personal Statement: I specialize in social anxiety, dating skills, couples therapy, and drama therapy, and offer a variety of services, including individual and group psychotherapy and dating coaching. I'm grateful for the opportunity to help you create an exceptionally joyful life. I offer guidance, empathy, and a sense of humor as you face life's difficulties. In our weekly sessions, we'll create a relationship laboratory where you can freely express yourself, learn new skills, and find your joy again. Let's build a happier, more alive you. Jessica Engle, licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#81850) graduated from the California Institute of Integral Studies with an M.A. in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Drama Therapy. She completed a practicum at Alta Bates Medical Center in Berkeley, CA, where she provided drama and talk therapy to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics battling depression, anxiety, addiction, life crises, suicidality, and psychosis. Jessica went on to complete her internship at the Living Arts Counseling Center in Emeryville, CA, helping hundreds overcome social, dating, and relationship difficulties. She currently runs a private psychotherapy practice and Bay Area Dating Coach in Emeryville, CA. Jessica is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, East Bay Chapter; the North American Drama Therapy Association; and the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
