Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I work with families, couples, and individuals to help them move from suffering to growth and contentment. In addition I specialize in working with families raising adolescents who are facing challenges. Do any of the following sound familiar? - Often I feel sad or anxious, and I can't talk to anyone about the things that concern me most deeply. - I feel upset that my partner, ex, or parents, often criticize me. - My child is a basically a good kid, the problem is she/he doesn't listen well and has trouble following instructions at school. How do I get others to understand my child's needs? - We used to have a great relationship. Now all we do is fight all the time. - Every morning is a struggle to get my son/daughter to attend school. My child's attendance is poor and I'm concerned about his/her grades. - Our extended family has a history of substance abuse. I'm worried about our teenagers experimenting with alcohol and drugs. - I despair at getting my son/ daughter to do as I ask. I understand how painful, frustrating, and concerning it is dealing with these testing situations every day. I also know that family relationships come in all different shapes, sizes, and configurations. Usually when one person is hurting, so are their family members, friends, and relatives. From my experience of working with many different types of clients and being privileged to see satisfying outcomes, I'm confident that we can work together to make your challenges the foundation for your future growth. If you are struggling with problems that don't seem to be getting resolved, and you're ready to move toward solutions now, please contact me for a complimentary 20 minute consultation. I can be reached at (310) 904 2675,, or from the contact page of my site at I'd love to hear from you.
