Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
It is my great privilege to be in a profession that encourages self-examination, the working through of painful unresolved issues and the move towards harmonious interpersonal relationships, greater maturity and freedom of choice. I enjoy working with a variety of clients, bringing to the therapeutic sessions my extensive training, life experience and personal wholeness. I have seen many couples, facilitating communication issues and the resolution of conflicts. I have much experience with depressed and anxious clients and have helped cancer patients work through fear and claim a quality of life previously unknown. Clients with life transition issues and spiritual or existential crises have benefited from the safe environment and guidance I have provided. I am an interactive therapist who gives feedback and initiates interventions whenever appropriate. I see my role as one who empowers and facilitates clients in accessing their own rich inner resources.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
