Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Anxiety Therapy and Career Counseling I work one-on-one with people struggling with high anxiety and panic. Whether you struggle with panic attacks, intense fear, social anxiety, shyness, or performance anxiety, I work with you collaboratively to identify what works best for you in your healing journey. I believe in organic healing of mind and body dysfunction and help you draw upon your inner strengths to live and thrive. Anxiety Therapy can be brief and solution-focused or long-term through deeper exploration. To treat panic, help you reduce anxiety and better function day to day, I address problematic thinking and behavior, then teach you how to do it differently. Breathe, eat, physically move, and sleep for healing. Career Counseling: Learn to communicate your qualifying skills through your resume, demonstrate your value-add through an interview, and convince the key decision maker to hire you. The process is a two-way street, and we will work toward the right fit both ways. Born in the Midwest, I am fourth generation Japanese-American (Yonsei) with Hawaiian cultural influence. I welcome varying ethnic, cultural, and religious lifestyles into my professional practice. Being LGBTQ-friendly is important and preferred by many of my clients.

During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone.
