Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
The last thing I might stop doing is being a counselor.
I think my website is the best way to get to know what I do best. Most recently I've been working with lots of war Veterans with PTSD and Victims of Crime. I've also been focusing on kids and their families, as well as couples. Recently I began to supervise MFT interns and currently I have an intern that is also a licensed psychologist who conducts psychological evaluations.

About My Practice

Office Hours
Monday through Thursday
10:00 am to 8:00 pm
Services
Counseling services for individuals, families, couples, children, teens and business relationships. I've been working closely with the Veterans Administration for the past few years working with home coming veterans on PTSD and trauma related issues. I have a seperate fully equipped Play Therapy room that I use mostly with my younger clients also working on trauma related issues along with their family relationship issues. Relationships are our specialties and each one of us has our own strong points within those relationship issues. My strengths are helping to reduce conflict between people and regenerating past positive aspects of relationships, helping people move beyond resentments that can continually cloud relationships now. I don't make my clients do anything, but I help them find their own ways to feel better about their lives and help them find their own ways to make their lives better and more meaningful.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
