Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I have 24 years experience of seeing clients and I offer depth-oriented psychotherapy that results in long-term transformation in the lives and relationships of individuals and couples. I believe all individuals have unique life journeys and have an innate desire to work through their problems, realize their full potential and lead fulfilling lives. I facilitate the exploration of conscious and unconscious beliefs, thoughts, feelings, emotional and behavior patterns which keep you from resolving painful, difficult issues or situations. As you move deeper into the exploration, you release old patterns that have kept you stuck or frozen. You acquire new skills, abilities and transform outworn emotional and behavior patterns. You discover the fullness of who you are and relate to others and the world from a place of self-awareness and empowerment. My personal style is warm, empathic and interactive. My theoretical orientation emphasizes Object Relations and Attachment Theory.

Pamela J. Blawusch, M.A.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Carlsbad, CA

I provide a therapeutic environment that allows individuals and couples to explore ideas, beliefs, life experiences, thoughts and feelings that may stand in the way of being who you truly want to be. I can help point out repeating dysfunctional patterns that may exsist in relationships at home, at work and with friends and family.I teach people how to respond in their lives versus getting caught in reacting to personalities and events.
