Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
In the practice of holistic Psychotherapy, I have discovered that healing is the application of loving to the places inside that are hurt or out of balance. I support you in rediscovering your authentic Self as your source, healing what stands in the way, and remembering the gifts you are here to share. From the perspective of who you really are, it makes no sense to judge our experiences, which are simply opportunities to learn and grow. By learning to release outmoded judgments and beliefs we can begin to live the joyful life we deserve. With more than 20 years of experience in the field, my approach includes inner child and dream work, the use of Jungian sand tray to open a dialogue with the unconscious, and EMDR and Brainspotting trauma release therapy. As former Program Director of a Wellness Community cancer support program, I have extensive experience in working with people with chronic and life-threatening illnesses and their caregivers. As a faculty member of the University of Santa Monica for 21 years, I have developed and taught various programs in spiritual psychology.
