Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Life may be thought of as a journey with many challenges, twists, and turns. Therapy can afford a person an opportunity to outgrow insecurities, discover strengths, and become the best person that you can possibly be. Although life is not always fair, we each have a unique opportunity and a responsibility to do our part to learn how to create a balanced quality life. This is the philosophy through which I work with individuals and couples. I help clients remove road blocks to their personal growth. I work with each client individually to find out what the client feels is missing in their life and I then work with them proactively to determine what it is between them and their perfect life. I believe in the goodness of human nature and in the individual power within each person to create and maintain the life that they so desire and deserve.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
