Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Hello. My name is Patricia Wynne, and I am a Marriage Family Therapist who is dedicated to helping people stop suffering, and find the joy and purpose in their life. I have created a very comfortable environment for my clients and I to meet, in Huntington Beach, CA. Many individual, couples, or families come to me to help them make sense out of their lives, and then show them the way to healing. I have been asked many questions over the years. "How do you fix depression or anxiety?" "How do you change thoughts?" "Can I ever trust him/her again? "I flunked out of school and I can't get out of bed, is there a way to fix this?" "I can't seem to find a reason to live after my husand died, can you help?" "I lost my job and feel worthless, what do I do?" If you have tried to resolve problems but can't, or are "hooked" on suffering and want out; my combination therapies can help. When you are unable to change yourself, your relationships, or have suffered a significant loss or trauma, or faced health issues or addictions: you may need the support and guidance a therapist can provide. Whether a simple problem or a serious one, I am with you every step of the way. WE ARE WALKING BRAINS There are many ways to make changes. I use Traditional Therapies as well as Neuroscience methods that work naturally with your brain and body. Often, psychological problems exist deep within one's nervous system, and are resistant to change. My therapeutic approach can accomplish deeper healing. I integrate traditional cognitive "talk" therapy, with somatic SE, neuroacoustics ,and hypnosis. I have been helping adults, families, and couples, find solutions and lead happier lives for over 25 years. WHAT TO EXPECT IN THERAPY You will likely find therapy kinder, easier, and quicker than you expected. I blend and customize a treatment plan that is based on your needs and personality -- replacing them with healthy and more hopeful alternatives that can change your life. IF YOU WANT HELP Whether it is learning to take charge of your mind, or showing you how to release body held trauma in gentle therapeutic ways, or healing those past hurts -- it is about you finding your personal and relationship joy. I hope to meet you. Keep your faith in yourself and do not give up! Patricia. You can go to my Web Page for more information. www.huntingtonbeach-therapist.com TYPES OF PSYCHOTHERAPY USED? At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
