Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
My goal is to offer a compassionate and supportive environment for people to experience change. Change and growth can take a different form with each unique person or couple. Growth can be seen in the different perception about a ongoing issue, a greater insight into ones emotional experience, or through actions taken towards a new direction. I recognize that throughout life there are many moments that come unexpectedly and a supportive grace filled relationship is helpful in finding direction and pursuing change. I am passionate about the health of families and couples, and the individuals within these relationships. I have worked with many adolescents and young professionals navigating the stresses and change that occur in the transition to young adulthood. I also have worked with couples and families interested in building intimacy and trust within relationships. I offer a personalized approach to working through issues related to relationships, life transitions, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, anger, self-esteem, parenting, and helping clients reach their personal goals. On my own time I enjoy spending time with my wife and four children, getting outdoors while backpacking and hiking, and investing time in my backyard landscape.
