Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Helping people to build healthy relationships. Together we focus on the person you are and put it in context of family relationships both past and present. We find out what is working and build upon that and begin releasing automatic responses based on survival mechanisms that are not useful anymore. I focus on congruency between thoughts, feelings and actions to tackle body image problems, eating disorders, financial stress, depression, infidelity, lonliness and anxiety. Are you not living up to your potential? Learn how to communicate effectively and manage your moods. Stop making promises that you can't follow through with. Stop the cycle of bargaining, deal breaking, disappointment and self-destruction. Learn how to build yourself up and not tear yourself down.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
