Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Yes,you can get help with feelings of anxiety, self-doubt, depression and the viscissitudes of life that at some point or another affect most people's lives! In my practice as a Jungian Analyst I have had great success helping others understand from whence such feelings and personal difficulties might come, why they surface at this point in their lives, and how these symptoms might be better managed and understood Very often people discover that their symptoms are an attempt of their psyche to bring greater consciousness to old neglected issues or creative energies that have been ignored or forotten. My focus is "client-centered," and moves with the presenting issues of each person to explore current difficulties, past history, and internal experiences such as dreams, significant fantasies and repetitive behaviors. Exploring such elements of an individual's life opens new directions and choices and enhances self-awareness. As an analyst I have explored my own psyche's depths for over thirty-five years including a daily journal and a plethora of dreams. Having paid close attention to my own creative process, I have worked well with many creative and sensitive people and have also had great success helping individuals and couples with interpersonal and relationship issues.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
