Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Steven C. Kassel, MFT, has been practicing biofeedback therapy since 1985 and has been licensed as a marriage and family therapist since 1991. He works with a variety of psychotherapy cases on a variety of issues (anxiety, depression, relationship and family to name a few) with family systems, neuropsychological, cognitive-behavioral, and psycho-physiological points of view. Biofeedback is a treatment approach, which puts the client in charge of their own psych-physiology to help overcome anxiety disorders, and stress related medical disorders. EEG biofeedback is used to treat ADHD, seizure disorder, head injury, anxiety, depression and addictions but will not necessarily be what is used in session. Mr. Kassel lectures nationwide on a variety of subjects including “Biofeedback and Neurofeedback in K-12” and "Interpersonal Biofeedback", is Past President of the Western Association Of Biofeedback and Neuroscience and is an active health care reformer.

Donna J. Shanahan, MA

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Pasadena, CA 91101

I am a Marriage and Family therapist in private practice. I work with individuals, couples, and families in short and long-term psychotherapy. We work together to explore memories of the relational dynamics of the individual’s family, the feelings those dynamics created for the individual as a child, and how the individual now relates to those feelings and memories.
