Personal Statement:
Journeys Counseling Ministry is a non-profit Christian Counseling service that works with local churches to provide professional Christian Counseling. Journeys is committed to the integration of Biblical faith and counseling practice. This approach provides a broad framework where spiritual, informational, physical, and emotional needs of a person are viewed as parts of a unified whole. All aspects of treatment seek to create a counseling environment in which a person can address their relationship with God and others. Tim is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#38350) and the Administrative Director at Journeys Counseling Ministry. In addition, Tim is an Assistant Professor at Vanguard University in the Graduate School for Clinical Psychology. At Vanguard University, Tim teaches Premarital/Marital Therapy, Family Therapy and has taught Foundations for Clinical Practice and Human Sexuality. He earned his first Masters in Religion at Vanguard University, his second Masters at Azusa Pacific University in Clinical Psychology, and he is currently working on his Doctorate of Ministry degree at Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, MO. Tim is an ordained minister and a regular speaker at churches and conferences.
