Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Congratulations on taking the first step toward empowering your life, your emotional well-being.You have trusted your instincts to come this far. You have been able to gain courage and strength to look at this website to make a determination of possibilities. Empowerment comes with the increased respect and knowledge that comes from within and the work that you do for yourself. This knowledge brings successfully met goals. When successfully met goals are reviewed, this can stimulate pride and lead to a healthy relationship with The Self and a successful life. Maintaining a healthy relationship with 'The Self' is key toward one's success in all areas of one's life. The steps and guidelines can then be determined and together discovering the underlying issues which have held you back can be addressed. By determining positive coping skills that can develop into increased abilities that can become a natural part of your life, that will enable you to be more aware and prepared for life’s challenges. If you are willing to put forth the effort, you can have a more satisfying life. Individual counseling doesn’t have to be a struggle. It can be a welcomed challenge when approached with dignity, understanding and compassion. Issues approached with understanding, compassion, and hard work, don’t always have to seem like a problem. If you take the chosen steps toward increased awareness and hard work, you may look at life a bit differently. Some of the common issues addressed in therapy can include but are not limited to: *Anxiety *Bipolar *Depression *Unmet Goals *Psychosis *Relationship Issues *Stress *Trauma Laughing, going places with friends, talking about meaningful times in life, and making more memories - these things can be a reality if you can make the time and put forth the effort for you. Individual Therapy can be a rewarding and life changing experience. Family counseling can also be rewarding when challenges are respectfully approached and met. It can be the foundation a family can grow from and enjoy. Take the next step and call or email me, Victoria Rosario, LMFT (619) 994-2799

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
