Personal Statement:
Licensed since 1996 with experience working with adults, families, youth and children in a variety of community settings. I have been in clinical practice since 1992. My clinical orientation is primarily systems based with a solution-focused emphasis, I utilize cognitive behavioral, experiential and other treatment modalities as appropriate. Of particular interest are individuals and families dealing with issues related to stress, transitions and with co-existing medical condition. Additionally, I have received advanced training in the areas of brief therapy, experiential, family systems, play therapy and supervision. I became a certified expressive arts practitioner in January 2013 and am integrating more expressive art modalities into my practice.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
